The latest software including gate arrays is now too large to fit on a floppy disk, so a new download utility (available below) has been written that will make the download process easier. The V2.08.10 file can be saved anywhere on the PC. This version requires unzipping. Please ensure that it is this utility that is used to download the latest software and not the GXR software used in the past.

GX8000

This is the latest software for the GX8000. Use the new download utility or the GXR software (where the file must be renamed gx8main.p) to load the file into the GX8000.

GXR Software

The PC-based GXR software is for use with the Genex GX8000 and provides comprehensive session management, remote control and take logging facilities.

This is the latest software for the GXR48 hardware remote control. There are two methods for installing the new software:
1. Using the Genex download utility with an RS232-RS422 converter.
2. Using the Genex download utility with a GX8000. See GX8000 Release Notes (V4.02.11), for more details.
