48-Channel Digital Recorder

The Genex GX9048 combines 48 channels of 24-bit/192kHz PCM recording and playback with 48 channels of DSD recording and playback to deliver unrivalled levels of performance and flexibility. Seamless punch in and out in DSD mode elevates Direct Stream Digital far beyond its traditional archiving and mastering applications, enabling all the post-production flexibility you're used to with existing PCM formats.

The GX9048 is capable of live disk mirroring, recording to two drives simultaneously where bandwidth allows to save valuable post session copy time. A choice of file formats in both PCM and DSD modes facilitates instant interchange with all popular workstation and a built-in sample rate converter operates at rates up to and including 192kHz and even enables conversion from PCM to DSD and back again. External control is delivered by optional GXR take-logging and editing software and a wide choice of optional I/O cards ensure easy integration into any set-up.
